He helps creators and brands present themselves to the world without fear or overthinking. He produces content for websites and social media, takes photos, shoots videos, and knows how to entertain the people around him. His advice? Start small and don\u2019t rely too heavily on trends. \u201cI would let go of perfectionism. Imperfect now is better than perfect never,\u201d says Filip Neubauer, whom you can meet in Prague’s Clubco.<\/b><\/p>\n

Filip\u2019s hunger for knowledge, creative mindset, and flexibility have led him to make a living by creating content for entrepreneurs and small brands \u2013 and he genuinely enjoys it. \u201cI never had a strictly defined path. I just knew I wanted to enjoy myself and do something meaningful. I’ve tried many professions in my life \u2013 from the army, to sales, to fitness training, to running an e-shop, to film production. These experiences gave me the time and space to discover my strengths and how they connect. I believe I\u2019m naturally creative, unafraid of change, technically skilled, and passionate about learning. Most of my previous jobs involved some form of creation \u2013 whether it was websites or social media presentations,\u201d explains <\/span>Filip Neubauer<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Photography and filming started as a hobby. But a combination of timing, demand, and market research helped him turn this \u201ccreative combo\u201d into a business. In his view, many people lack the willingness or courage to experiment and improvise. He learned by doing and watching tutorials on YouTube \u2013 where he hopes to start sharing his own content in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Freedom, satisfaction and peace of mind at work<\/b><\/p>\n

He works primarily on a long-term basis with his clients, helping them build their brands and take them to the next level through web and social media content. He deliberately avoids large corporations. \u201cI hate bureaucracy and mechanical processes. With small brands, I have creative freedom, and the work feels relaxed and friendly,\u201d he says, adding that he has never actively looked for clients: \u201cAll of my work comes from referrals.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He has been working for the longest time with trade and business development specialist Filip Soukup, whom he helped build all profiles from scratch. He creates content with him, among other places, in Clubco. Filip also works here with Petr Bernadi\u010d, a business strategy and leadership coach. \u201cWe were looking for a quiet, flexible space to shoot and work. Since neither of us can use it regularly, it didn\u2019t make sense to rent something private and expensive. That\u2019s why we chose Clubco. It\u2019s car-friendly, easy to park, you can drop in, get some work done, shoot a bit. It\u2019s comfortable. I’ve been coming here for about six months,\u201d he says about the coworking space in Prague – Nupaky.<\/span><\/p>\n

Authenticity and long-termism<\/b><\/p>\n

What holds people back from building their personal brand? In Filip\u2019s experience, it’s uncertainty about where to start, camera shyness, comparison with others, lack of a concept or technical setup, and simply not having the time or support. One thing is clear: authenticity is essential. “At least try to get close to it \u2013 even if it’s not always possible. Other crucial elements are providing value to your audience, consistency, trust, and relatability.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Filip focuses on long-term strategy over fleeting trends. \u201cAuthenticity is the only thing that sets you apart. Social media often looks like the same thing over and over in different shades of blue. On Instagram, I don\u2019t bother with algorithms or trending sounds. I test different ideas, see what resonates, and adjust my direction accordingly. I prefer a \u2018slow but steady\u2019 approach. For clients, good execution and reliability matter more than chasing trends or relying on half-working AI-generated content.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Show your strengths \u2013<\/b> without overthinking\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

So, what makes quality content stand out? \u201cAverage content says, \u2018Hey, look at me, buy from me.\u2019 Quality content says, \u2018I\u2019m good at this, and here\u2019s how I can help you. I\u2019m real, I might even entertain you \u2013 and I\u2019m not faking it.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Filip also tries to stay true to himself, he doesn’t take himself so seriously. \u201cI don\u2019t have much time to post on my own channels. My clients come first. But I already have a plan in mind for future content \u2013 sharing my journey with overthinking and fear of putting myself out there. I want to help others create and maybe entertain them a bit too \u2013 because that\u2019s who I am.\u201d And once again, it all comes back to authenticity\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn’t think about things so much, I would let go of perfectionism. I say this as someone who struggles with it myself <\/span>(laughs)<\/span><\/i>. Clients need someone to pull content out of them, support them, guide them,\u201d he says. \u201cStart small. All you need is a phone and a Bluetooth mic. Imperfect now is better than perfect never.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Doubt is normal \u2013 it always has been and always will be. There will always be someone with better content, more reach, or more advanced technology. \u201cIt\u2019s important to know who you’re here for. Often, the \u2018perfect\u2019 content comes from people who\u2019ve been creating for ten years or have a whole team behind them. You can\u2019t just throw money at gear without a plan. That\u2019s why it\u2019s crucial to start small, explore and grow. Many people want huge brand deals right away \u2013 but that\u2019s not how it works. I started with the jobs no one wanted, and now I have meaningful relationships with my clients. They work with me because of how I am, how they feel with me,\u201d he says.
